The Gumberry High Ole School & Northampton County Training School Club is taking all measures to protect all from the spread of the Corona Virus. For your safety we plan to:
- Adhere to the NC Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order 253 allowing optional mask use.
- Provide surgical masks to all guests who desire them.
- Availability of hand sanitizers in various areas for frequent use.
- Communicate any changes to the above via this website.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Cool Spring Missionary Church’s leadership team requires the wearing of mask in their Community Center. The Community Center is the venue for the Friday night’s Meet & Greet, September 2, 2022.
- Halifax Community College’s Acting President/ VP of Administrative Services/CFO, Dr. David Forester stands by the governor’s executive order when it comes to mask wearing. Whereas masks are optional, we ask that you do what is comfortable for you and your accompanying party. The Centre, on the campus of Halifax Community College, is the venue for our Promenade on September 3rd, 2022
- Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church’s Covid-19 policy, requires the wearing of face mask. Mount Hope has invited us to worship with them at their new house of worship September 4th, 2022.

The Gumberry High School and Northampton County Training School Reunion Committee has moved its Promenade on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 from The Ervin V. Griffin Center at Halifax Community College to the Halifax County Extension Office at 359 Ferrell Lane, Halifax, NC in order to accommodate more alumni and guests. Thank you for your support that has both the Meet and Greet and the Promenade at full capacity.

Calling All Lions!
Greetings Lions & Lionettes! The Gumberry High Ole School Club and the Northampton County Training School Alumni proudly announce that we are “Ready to ROAR” ! Yes, it is time for us to come together again. If the truth be told, we miss all of you; that is why, we are busy preparing to fellowship again. Of course, all COVID-19 restrictions will be implemented.
The schedule of events is listed on this brochure, and we look forward to having an exciting time, with plenty of laughter and gifts along the way.
As we move forward in making future plans, it is our hope to bring new exciting ideas and events to each celebrated year. To assist in defraying future costs for our reunions, as well as promote the L.H. Moseley Scholarship Fund, we are excited to announce that two major fundraisers will be conducted annually beginning 2023.
Classmates, we are working on a revised website for your enjoyment. This website will be user friendly and provide us all an opportunity to order memorabilia, keep up with the Lions & Lionettes news, and much, much more.
An evaluation will be sent following the reunion to gather feedback that will aid in future planning. Please make sure to send your email address in the registration section.
